About
Charlie Conrad
As a fourth-generation Oregonian, Charlie Conrad has always prioritized Oregonians over party. Charlie's dad was a career army officer, and Charlie grew up on bases throughout the world, learning the values of discipline and service.
This led him to the state legislature, where he used his experience to advocate for education and economic development and delivered over $10 million to his district. His 15 years in law enforcement made him an advocate for stricter accountability for criminals, as well as effective post-prison programs to prevent their re-entry into prison.
Now, Charlie is running for House District 12 as an Independent because he believes that if Oregon is going to solve the massive challenges it faces, we must put people over party.

Oregonians Deserve Better.
And we can do better.
But that won’t happen if we keep doing things the same way.
For too long, both parties have put winning elections ahead of solving problems. The result? Gridlock, excuses, and a state that’s falling further and further behind.
It’s time to put people over politics. To listen more than we lecture. To fix what’s broken instead of fighting over who gets the credit.
As an Independent, I’ve always called it like I see it — voting for what helps Oregonians, not what helps a party. That’s how I’ve lived, and that’s how I’ll lead.
Oregon doesn’t need another partisan leader. It needs a leader who answers to the people, and only the people.
